We are proud to announce that Saliense and TIAG’s Joint Venture SynergisT JV is the recipient of a Small Business Award by the US Department of Homeland Security for being “strong, innovative business partners in advancing the Department’s mission,” for our Cybersecurity work with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

“SynergisT formed a partnership with FEMA, helping to integrate cybersecurity awareness and compliance at the program level and leading the monthly cybersecurity training, which changed the FEMA enterprise culture. SynergisT acted as a bridge between the Office of the Chief Information Officer and the programs, ensuring consistent guidance was applied to all FEMA systems regardless of the program or various supporting Operation and Maintenance (O&M) vendors.”

“We are honored to be recognized along with the other amazing small businesses supporting DHS and FEMA,” said Heather Burke, Saliense Director and SynergisT FEMA Program Manager. “I am proud of the amazing accomplishments the SynergisT team has made and continues to make in creating an enduring cybersecurity culture at FEMA.”
