With nearly 20 years of professional experience in public relations, corporate communications and integrated marketing strategy, Tyson will be responsible for all corporate marketing and public relations efforts in this newly created position.
Most recently, Tyson served as marketing and investor relations manager for Dorchester County Economic Development in Summerville, South Carolina. In this role she was responsible for establishing the organization’s marketing program aligning with their international recruiting efforts and local stakeholder campaigns. She began her career in the public relations and advertising agency setting as an account manager for Tucson-based Caliber Group where she specialized in social media strategy and content creation.

Tyson earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with an emphasis on public relations and advertising from the University of South Carolina in 2001.
